some of the people who get in our life are meant to remain for long time, some of them only to stay for a while.
some of the close friends we have are not always the ones that we see every day, but the ones who know what to say when we call.
some of the words we hear are not always the ones we want, but can be the most powerful that we need to hear.
some of the random moments of hurt might confuse us, but might also prepare for that love we waited for long.

I apologize for not being able to feel proud to be Romanian, I actually don't feel a thing about the National day.
I've seen so many ugly things and situations lately that I cannot simply feel any joy.
Still hope there are people out there who find it in their heart to enjoy; I've been in the Old center tonight and saw happy strangers. There are a lot of them coming here and having good time, sometimes I wonder what are they still seeing here and me, I don't.

If you have the feeling that everything is put in order in these photos, I share the same feeling. but it is only in the photos...These days I'm trying to get some order in my pc as it is quite mixed of photos and music and stuff to read, and really I can't figure out the best way to organize everything. I'm already at the second to third try.
I am also in the point where I think about deleting everything and starting from scratch.

I have waited for this weekend like no other. why?

because I want it to be a lazy reading one.

There is a longtime since i planned a day with no activity, just seating around the house, reading (I'm so late with reading blogs ...) and maybe doing some pancakes with jam.

Sometimes I think I want to win the lottery, sit around the house for days or travel the world without having to wake up in the morning and go to work. bliss wish, now back to reality :))

I m trying to enjoy as much as possible the last days of light and warm weather because I know once we get more and more into autumn, rain and wind will take over.

I have also made some good provisions of cinnamon and hot chocolate as they are my antidote for everything during the ugly days. I know, you might think I\m getting extremely cautious, but in fact I love shopping for cinnamon and tasty chocolate in all forms.

there was a time when, for a certain reason or somebody, I have abandoned everything around me including close friends. yes, I was that stupid :) fortunately some people never change and they are willing to have you back into their lives when you ask for it. so ... as I'm off these days putting things in order in my head, visiting my mom and trying to act wise, I went back, called a friend I did not see in years but with whom I shared a lot of good and bad. we met in her restaurant and I was able to go back in time and see the difference b/w 2 stupid college girls spoiled by the parents and 2 women talking about love, pain, kids, money, relationships, death and other drugs. despite all the life changing happenings we had in these years, there was still a connection that I will never lose again.

I guess if we would be able to stick to what we have and show apreciation at the right time, a lot of things would fall more easily into their places. as for me, I am in a learning process of saying all things I feel so watch out dear friends, I'm in a phase where I tell people I love them and they are beautifull :))

I was in a bus one of the days on my way to a friend's house.

While the bus was running, somewhere in the back there was a very nice young man with the most gentle smile and deep blue eyes; by the look one would say he was a model or something... anyway, while I was paying attention to nothing as usual and listening to some music, I saw him waving his hand. of course I thought the sign was for someone else, but as I could see it wasn't. then i thought whatahell must be in his head thinking that I would react or even go to him. but he insisted. yes, he insisted. and I changed my mind. after that I went to him very confused and intrigued. while pulling off my headset I could see he was awesome!... and he was in a wheelchair...and I felt helpless and stupid and superficial like never ever before.

I promised I would not put here private photos but these are so funny; I've been out after work with miss R as she wanted to buy some sunglasses, and it turned out we spent a couple of hours in 2 stores where we tried a lot of glasses and hats. as the mirror was kinda busy we took some instant snapshots in order to asses the glasses :))
In the end we did found the ones she wanted and we had a lot of fun ; it's so nice to do stupid things from time to time

p.s. everybody is asking me these days if I was at the Bon Jovi concert. it seems that he left a strong sensation among all the women I know... well no, I wasn't as unfortunately I felt too weak.

for a couple of days I keep having this sensation of eyes-wide-open-continuous-dreaming about fluids and light colors, it's like being in a film that you would not want to stop but it does stop every morning when the Ipod starts to ring for work... :((

oh, and about work, these days I've been counting five years of service, omg !! it made me realize that time is flying so f****** quickly and I was not prepared to judge this period out of a sudden. I felt like it happened just like that, but for sure it didn't. thus I made a promise to myself ... once I'll have the time, I will take a moment to overcome this sensation of lightness, take the ubernice engraved pen I was gifted and draw the line of how much everything has changed me/for me. the only thing I can say for sure right now = if someone would have told me that one day I will have to handle people mgm, I would have ran away and never came back :)) also, having champagne in the middle of the day is priceless, is somehow like the morning when I woke up very thirsty and had nothing but one beer in the fridge :))

I had a very lovely weekend that included a lot of laughing and going out with the girls, getting a coffee color
for my hair, buying shoes and trying hats, also testing some summer fragrances (that yellow hypnose senses from Lancome is to die for :)); in addition, I have received some handmade soap for test, thank you miss T, i'm already addicted to the massage bar you made ;)
As I had a bit of time today, I cooked this lovely sort-of-Pavlova cake (sort of because I added up some milk topping as I'm not such a fan of the mixed liquid cream) , it was so sweet and creamy as a smooth kiss early in the morning. (bear in mind i hate waking up early but worth giving a try :)) ; the cake went perfectly with a rose wine I found in the fridge - thank you whoever gave it to me, it was very good.
Imho Rose is the perfect match for summer, please don't tell this to my doctor.

I always thought there is a certain sense of familiarity or close feeling you get when eating with someone.

Truthfully, I am extremely happy that the ouikend has come, not because I have something special to do but because of no waking up in the morning, no phone ringing and no stress, just coffee and quiet :) Last night I went out with some friends, another reason to be happily off today, yaaay.

Another week has started and in the morning I had some reasons to think my karma is in a bad mood since

- 11 street dogs were barking at me on my way to work; I was so afraid that I got back from the way instead of going on. thanks God I did not run but kept calm and avoided them nicely.

- I had to see a doctor today. I hate medical checks and all that is related to them... seems I have to do some investigations but do hope everything will be just fine.

by the end of the day one of my lovely colleagues has gifted me with a massage bar (you see in the photos); she started to do some natural cosmetics, such as soap, scrub and massage bar. first she gave me a brown sugar scrub with green apple oil and today the bar. I felt spoiled and very grateful for such a lovely surprise.

I generally feel impressed by people able to be creative and produce things with their own hands, such as this nice girl or people who draw, cook, shoot photos or the design houses :d

Timisoara

I have decided that I like Timisoara, even if it was a 9hours distance by car from Bucharest. Why?

- because of nice people, we've shared opinions about beer with some strangers in the street only because they heard me talking about it (yes, I got fascinated by some German-hard-to-pronounce-name-of-beer I already forgot)

- you can pay parking by text, even if we did it after getting warned :))

- the houses are colored and seem perfectly simple as structure or geometry (i'm not sure how to put this in words but i loved houses)

- there were no dogs in the streets, so I did ramble around in the Botanical park and Cathedral park with no fear, aww the love

- I got the loveliest turquoise bag as present for my upcoming bthday :d

now I have to sleep, otherwise my head will fall on the keyboard :))

since everybody is watching the football game (UEFA Champions League 2011, Real Madrid vs Barcelona) and I'm not passionate of such activity, I'm getting bored at home and rambling on internet. The only experience related to football I have took place 2 years ago in Barcelona, when we went to Plaza Catalunya to see Barca playing and encourage the players from distance. have you ever been to a live game? how was it?

I know the video has no connection to the game but this is a great result of my ramblings, do not try this at home :))

I love coffee and flowers and I guess there is nothing in this world able to prevent me from drinking that magic liquid, not even the allergy I get from time to time... what you see here is my reaction when my mom said I should stop drinking coffee and find a replacement. oh, no!!!

off topic but quite interesting: today on my way back to Bucharest I met an ex ballerina with a great story; at 10 she ran away from home to take ballet lessons, she lived far for her family as she had to study, went to another country to pursue her dream and in the end got into a lot of trouble. her identity documents were retained by her professor so she could not get back to the family, she had to find a way out, take life in her hands and become what she is today... she was so simple and had a great talent for telling every fact of her life that I had the feeling she was talking about a movie. she is 48 now, extremely natural and beautiful, with a sweet smell of spring. I went with her to the airport to offer some help and just to be able to hear the happy end of the story, meaning about the time when she met the love of her life and moved in a house by the sea. aw, extremely romantic, isn't it?

I ran out of town, walked a lot instead of using a car (lol, i don't even have one...), went to confession (it was long time since last time), took a deep breath and thought of everything I experienced lately, finally realized that some people will never be around again (farewell dear Irina...) and felt like quiting my job and going out there to see the world (thought about going to a safari in Kenya, then to alaska and then to bali); in the end decided to come back to earth from the clouds, enjoy some moments of peace and go back to the city with fresh energy. I'm not sad or depressed but calm and grateful for all i got up to now (no matter good or bad).

how are you, lovelies? all my days lately were work and going out so this is why i did not have time to do anything else... worked a lot but also laughed a lot, tried some great wine and bought nice stuff as well. done some midnight shopping in a supermarket and felt like chaos all over.

chaos is good from time to time but not on a long term (god, i m so trying to be organized but it gets to me, now i m actually in the list period when i do a list for everything :))

starting today i will have some days off, which means finally i get a chance to sleep and see stupid movies such as this one with drew barrymore. the movie is the story of long distance relationships who can work or not. in the movie ofc it works just fine and things are ending happily. for me it never worked.

if only I could meet this photographer I would hardly be able to say how much I was impressed by these photos because the words would not come in the proper order to do it.Its great to have a talent and be able to do great things with your own hands.

Off topic, I had a great weekend where I got a shorter haircut, celebrated my mom's anniversary, went to a picnic and also had some white wine.

I'm still impressed for the little happiness I could get from small things these days.
